About Me


On 25th December 1973, I was born in Bokaro district of Jharkhand State in India. Presently I am working in CRY (Child Right and You) - Kolkata. It is a Non Governmental Voluntary Organization working with the children.
I was completed my matriculation examination in the year1988, completed 10+2 in the year1990 from DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shymali, Ranchi. I completed my graduation in the year 1994 from Ranchi University in Bachelor in Science. I was completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development in the year 1995-1997 from Xavier Institute of social service Ranchi.
In the Year 1996, I was in Coochbehar District of North Bengal for my thesis work for the topic “Study on impact on Sustainable Development towards people’s process of change”.
In the year June 1997 I joined “Institute for Plantation, Agricultural and Rural Worker” (IPARW) a NGO, based at Jalpaigur and working in the Tea gardens of the North Bengal, focusing on the issue of health and education among the tea garden workers. I have attended and took the active participation in more than 500 negotiation at bipartite and tri partite level with the Tea Garden management basically on wages, bonus, fringe benefits, health and education during the period of 1997 to December 2000.
In the year February 2001, I contributed to “Alternative for India development” (AID) a Chennai Based NGO working in the Palamau, Garwa, Giridih, Ranchi and Singhbhoom Districts in Jharkhnad. I was placed at Lesliganj Block of Palamau District. I was working there as Project leader for the issue food security, poor Governance and drought. During the period I have conducted research and made my association with the National Food Right and right to work campaign.
In the year 2004 I Joined Gram Swaraj Abhiyan a State level Network of the NGOs working on the issue of Food rights and drought in the State of Jharkhand, it was supported by Action Aid India. I was there as advocacy coordinator. I was assigned to accelerate the activism approach of development for ensuring food rights in the State; I was also involved in the research documentation of the State level Study.
At present I am working for CRY (Child Rights and You) Kolkata on Child rights.
I like travelling and reading books, I like to interact with people and interested to acquire knowledge about the civilization, history, social relation, culture and customs.

In my 14 years of experience in social sector, really I returned a lot from the people, while in the village or in travelling or in any seminar. Really it has enriched my experiences.

I have observed and feel the struggle of people very closely, I realised challenges and struggle is the part of life and it will pave path for you. We have to work for present and it will take us to future. Each and every elements of life is very important.

Each individual are living with their own dignity, so we should have to respect every others. Each individual are living with lot of potential so giving opportunity to others to explore their potential.
